ORIS watches are anti-magnetic in accordance with the definitions of the DIN 8309 or ISO 764 standards. The metal case of an ORIS watch functions like a cage and protects the movement against magnetic fields as specified above. Nevertheless, the movement can be magnetized unintentionally. If this happens, it will inevitably be less accurate and the rate will be irregular.
